We arrived in Venice early Wednesday morning.  Sharelle and her husband, Jurod, picked us up from the airport and we headed to Venice. It was just like we imagined it would be: the Grand Canal, the architecture, the little side streets, the gondolas, and the delicious food!  Honestly, we both feel like the little time that we spent in Venice was enough, but we so enjoyed the time with our friends and this was a great way to kick off our European holiday.
